A set of 10 booklets. In each Skills Booklet students interleave Language and Literature skills. Students revise a key scene and theme from An Inspector Calls whilst practising the skills required for Language Paper 1. Each booklet takes them through every question of the Language exam with key hints. A sample booklet exploring the opening scene is available as a free resource.

I wrote this 5 week scheme of work for my GCSE English group. They were struggling with narrative writing and so I wanted to inspire with them with some effective short story writing. In this series of lessons students read a range of his stories and many of the tasks are linked to revising key skills that will be used in their Language exams. Included here are the Week 2 lessons.
