This is a fun and simple activity sheet that lets students explore the creation of a 3D shape (cube) from a flat 2D shape "net". The sheet has some words on it that wrap around some of the sides and blank squares for the students to insert their own words. Please give feedback and review this resource if you liked it. Follow me in tes if you want to be notified when I have more resources available. I plan to have more free and paid resources that are project based, hands-on and linked to the curriculum.

There is a blackout and you are stuck without power for a few days. Help your family by building a solar powered oven to cook your food. Build a solar oven that can get to over 80’C using everyday materials. This is a fun and easy activity that can be done by anyone that can use a pair of scissors. The end result is incredibly effective and can easily be extended to learn about scientific measurements and controls.
