So many people struggle with low self-esteem and this can lead to being very anxious. Feeling good about yourself and believing in your own abilities are really important skills to master. Having high self-esteem and confidence is like having a strong foundation that helps you cope with challenges and navigate life’s twists and turns with a sense of inner security. Empower Me aims to give people the boost they need to achieve this sense of stability and self-belief.
Inside Empower Me, you’ll find a range of gentle activities to help your child discover the unique strengths and talents that make them shine. Throughout the book, they’ll get to know themselves a little better, boost their confidence, and understand just how awesome they truly are.
It’s a space where they can celebrate their successes, big and small, and learn to appreciate the incredible person staring back at them in the mirror. Hopefully they will find they really connect with some of the ideas and can carry them forward with them. Your child can use the journal as often as they like. They can either work through it in order or dip in and out of it as they please. Some of the activities will work better in the day and some are ideal for bedtime, so they should keep this in mind when planning their journal time.
Empower Me will take your child on a journey to a more confident and less anxious version of their incredible selves!

Our age recommendation for the journal is approximately 8-18 years. It may well be suitable for younger or older children depending on their personal situation.
The tasks can be completed to your child’s own level. We would expect older/more able children to work mostly independently, in more depth and detail. What age is the Halloween Activity Pack suitable for?
Our age recommendation for this pack is approximately 8-13 years. However, we always say that ability is very subjective; what will be right for one child won’t necessarily be right for another of the same age. The pack has been designed with families in mind so there is intended to be a variety of activities to suit a wide range of ages.
It may well be suitable for younger or older children depending on the individual child. The activities can be completed to your child’s own level.
For example, A 12 year old may produce a complex response to a Lego challenge, independently solve numeracy puzzles, really go to town on a STEM task and take their self-led projects and science investigations to a much deeper level than a younger child. A younger child may need adult adult support or may choose to respond with pictures rather than words.
It is important to remember that our activity packs are not meant to mirror what a child has been doing in school, but are instead meant to engage them, spark their love of learning and most of all be FUN. Our own children (aged 5-13) have loved testing out these activities.
Magnificent me is a hands-on Early Years Curriculum to support children as they develop their numeracy skills. This beautifully bright activity pack has been created specifically for younger children. We believe that learning should predominantly be through play, which this pack actively encourages.
What’s inside the Magnificent Me Early Years Maths Activity Pack?
We have developed this pack with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework in mind so that the activities help children develop in these key areas of learning:
• communication and language
• physical development
• personal, social and emotional development
• literacy
• mathematics
• understanding the world
• expressive arts and design
Magnificent Me focuses on encouraging and developing early numeracy skills, which includes developing a strong grounding in number. There are lots of activities to help with counting confidently, developing a deep understanding of the numbers to 10, learning about the relationships between them and the patterns within those numbers. For young children repetition is key, so you will find lots of opportunities for children to repeat and cement their understanding in this pack. The key concepts that the activities in this pack will help your child develop and explore are:
Comparing
Patterning
Ordering
Counting
Parts and wholes
Numbers and symbols
Data handling
Observation
Problem solving
Language
Number sense
Spatial awareness
Shapes
Classification
What age is the Magnificent Me Early Years Maths Activity Pack suitable for?
As a rough guide we’d recommend it for ages 3-7. We have created this pack so that it is suitable from the point your child is experimenting with counting, mark making and is able to verbally communicate their thoughts and ideas. Children at this early stage will need adult support as is appropriate for them. If there are parts you feel they are not yet ready for, simply skip or adapt them. It’s a great resource to return to time and time again. Children really benefit from repetition as they are acquiring new skills so you can repeat activities as desired. There will likely be big differences in a child’s response to a task a year apart. The pack also becomes a special keepsake of your child’s development.
Magnificent Me is ideal for preschool and reception age children and depending on the individual child, they should be able to do lots independently. The activities are designed to prompt discussion and to be adaptable for different children. For example if your child is not yet writing you could scribe their ideas. Another child may be able to copy something you have written or trace your writing, others will be able to write independently.
The Early Years Halloween Activity Pack is the perfect way to spend October with your little pumpkins. It’s packed full of gruesome recipes, spooky game templates, self-study prompts and lots more Halloween fun.

We (of course) advocate thoroughly researching any game before agreeing to your child playing it. In particular it is important to ensure the parental controls and safeguarding options are utilised as well as making sure your child understands how to be safe online. Many games offer the option to play offline, in a realm or using a private server. Those that don’t usually have the option to limit how your child can interact with others (for example by disabling chat features).

What age is this Reptile Activity Pack suitable for?
Our age recommendation for this pack is approximately 9-14 as the emphasis is on self-study. However, we always say that ability is very subjective; older or younger children may well love exploring reptiles through our colourful activities and the tasks can be completed to your child’s own level. A younger child could be supported with their reading, research and recording if they are enthusiastic about the topic.

What age is this Farm Activity Pack suitable for?
The activities in our beautiful farm pack have been designed so they can be enjoyed by children from age three with adult support as necessary. If your child is not yet writing, you could scribe for them or they could respond to questions with pictures instead of words. The science, baking and art activities can be enjoyed together. Our age recommendation is roughly 3-7/8. Older children can work more independently and go into more depth when working on the self-study projects.

Some of our activities require resources that can be purchased inexpensively online or at the supermarket.
The Artist’s Yearbook is perfect for all children. After all, every child is an artist! It is especially good for tweens and teens to work through independently. This beautiful 100 page resource is very much a template. It prompts, inspires and gently guides whilst leaving plenty of space for your artist to interpret everything in their own unique way.
Each section begins with an artist study. This will entail independent research and the recording of information to produce a profile. The artists covered in this pack are:
Albert Namatjira
Piet Mondrian
Andy Warhol
Rosa Bonheur
Banksy
Jackson pollock
Pablo Picasso
Dame Barbara Hepworth
Anthony Gormley
Georgia O’Keeffe
Katsushika Hokusai
Steven Brown
The section then moves on to invite children to look at two examples of the artist’s work. They will then need to find out about the pieces and make note of their thoughts and opinions. After looking specifically at the media and techniques used by the artist they will then choose and reproduce another piece by the artist.
At this point children are invited to create their own masterpiece ‘in the style of’ using all the information they have accumulated about the artist. Spaces intended for your artist to create a piece also have a small plaque for them to name and sign their work.
There’s then a gently guided art activity that focussing on using a particular media or using a particular technique. The activities in this pack are:
Aboriginal Dot Art
Lego Block Art
Pop Art Printing
Pastel Blending
Chalk & Charcoal
Marbling
Block Colour
Playdough & String Sculpture
Clay Sculpture
Musical Movements
