This is a module done for History but can be used for citizenship, British Values or Politics. It is designed to get the students thinking about political ideas before moving onto the next lessons based around Democracy, Fascism and Communism. I designed this as a background lesson to help teach key themes in the new Edexcel GCSE specification. - 90 minute Lessons - Mixed variation of Starter / Plenary and Tasks -Lesson Plan as first slide -Numeracy / Literacy / Peer & Self assessment - New "life after levels" framework - Blooms Taxonomy based Learning Objectives and Tasks - Keyword / Sentence starter / Blooms explanation with tasks - Questions geared toward final exam so students can get used to exam structure - Differentiated tasks - SMSC heavy with some ideals of British Values British Values, Proportional represention, Coalitions, Censorship, Freedom of speach
