In 2008 my company, Muirgarth Ltd, won the Stevie Award for Best Motivational Video for a series of films produced for Future Morph. (The short films introduce KS3 science students to a range of interesting careers and give workplace context to curriculum topics.) The success of this project encouraged us to develop a similar resource for all cross-curricular teaching, careers guidance and for student's independent career exploration. Since then hundreds of young employees, apprentices and entrepreneurs have given time to talk about their jobs, share their career experiences and offer some tips they wish they had had while they were still at school. In 2009 we produced the first Careers4u.tv DVDs, and in 2011 we launched www.careers4u.tv. Each interview is supported by links to useful information sources, and Teacher's Notes are available for interviews relevant to Enterprise, STEM, Business Studies, English, ICT, Maths and the 14-19 Diplomas.
