A 3 hour lesson presentation covering AQA RESISTANCE AND I-V CHARACTERISTICS (RP3) GCSE. This series of lessons introduces the idea of resistance, linking to prior learning with starter acticities, guided and independent practice. Rearrangement of V=IR equation is guided and then exam question practice to embed understanding. RP3 resistance of a wire is introduced with detailed and staged methods, how to write results, graphs and conclusions. The lesson trilogy ends with exam questions based on this work. The accompanying worksheet matches the lessons reducing the time copying but giving students the key information needed to understand and apply their new knowledge.
