A starter for the topic of Atonement - The Meaning Behind Jesus' Death.
The starter compares Jesus to Superman in an attempt to get pupils to see Jesus in a more modern light, in hope that they will be more engaged throughout the rest of the lesson when engaging in more specific content.
To be utilised with a main activity that will discuss Jesus role in bridging the gap between Man and God by paying the price for the sins of humanity.
Ends with potential discussion topics that could be used to transition into the next part of the lesson.
