Book Week: 5 Minute Reads

(0)
Book week: “5 Minute Reads” is to encourage more story time for learners. Here’s how it works: Every day, teachers will dedicate 5 minutes during various lessons for reading. For example, PE teacher might read a chapter from an Athlete’s biography. After the reading session, learners will receive acknowledgment, like a sticker or stamp on their sheet. The goal is to fill their reading sheet during the week, earning them a special certificate. If the child needs extra reading opportunities, we encouraged them to reach out to adults within the school community or engage in reading activities at home.
