This resource contains all the necessary displays for your Spanish classroom this Christmas. I use these as a game first to introduce the vocabulary to my students. They are placed around my room and students are given a list of Christmas vocabulary in English. They then have to find the Spanish equivalent. It's nice to watch students discover the vocabulary themselves as opposed to looking at a PowerPoint and writing everything down in a vocabulary book. This resource contains three resources for a lesson in Spanish. The first is a Bingo game, using Christmas vocabulary (See my display resource for that vocabulary) The second is a puzzle where students need to orientate themselves through a puzzle. This can be done using directions. (One person is blind folded and they must direct their partner around the puzzle) Or this resource can be used as a simple starter. The third resource is a word search. Each activity focuses oral skills and new vocabulary. It's a lovely way to finish the term off and also a way to keep students engaged in their final lesson. This PowerPoint contains all you need to know about the Possessive Adjective in Irish. It contains three small activities the first of which focuses on students ability to discover the grammar rules for themselves. The PowerPoint covers rules for consonants and rules for vowels and an activity to practice learning for both. The final slide mentions a homework activity which is part of a work booklet. Lovely lesson to introduce students to French! I usually use this at the start of each term with my students. It's nice to watch them discover all bout the culture and the language by themselves. I encourage them to research all about festivals & food. I generally find it is a lesson that they talk about and use as a frame of reference later on in the year.
