I stuck this into the start of my Year 10s Spanish book this year. It's a simple list of the Themes & Topics they will study over the next two years. Resource contains a PowerPoint lesson for revising the Present Tense in Spanish. It can also be adapted to be used as a lesson to introduce the same topic. It contains notes on formation of the tense, a worksheet that accompanies the lesson and also a selection of note sheets. The work sheets are in .doc format to edit and rework depending on your needs and also in .pdf. This ensures that when printing, all the worksheet is printed and none of the margins are missing.

After a recent Ofsted inspection our department has come up with a 'Check in System' in for pupils to review how they like learning. This form has worked wonders for us and has allowed us to get to know our pupils, especially our PP pupils (Pupil Premium), SEN & MAP (More Able Pupils) much better. It must be shown that all students are making progress (Especially since the introduction of the Progress 8 scores) From using these forms we have come up with strategies to help students who are not attaining or reaching their target grades and we have initiated intervention strategies. A reference sheet to aid students learning how to tell the time as Gaeilge. I usually stick these to my tables with my knowledge organisers and find it very useful.

This resource contains a Weather Mind Map / Revision Mat and also various activities to do with the topic of the Weather, There is a comprehension, some translation work, some verb work and finally a word search. I tend to use this when introducing the topic and for GCSE revision.

Simple display for days of the week in Spanish. I have a space on the top right hand corner of my board where the day and month are switched everyday. ( I am no longer asked. 'Miss whats the date?' twenty times a day!) Enjoy:)

Simple display cards to get your room and your students in the festive Easter spirit. My students love Easter! (It must be the chocolate!) and the display is nice when surrounded by students work. Alternatively use the activity attached also. I use these as a game first to introduce the vocabulary to my students. They are placed around my room and students are given a list of Easter vocabulary in English. They then have to find the Irish equivalent. It's nice to watch students discover the vocabulary themselves as opposed to looking at a PowerPoint and writing everything down in a vocabulary book. Once the lesson is finished they can go onto a display board. Please note this is a .pdf display only.

I use this resource as a revision for my KS4 groups. It is a simple PowerPoint that states the rules of the Conditional Tense in Spanish. With the PowerPoint I have attached a booklet to aid with the lesson. The booklet contains the following: - 4 activities that students can complete in lesson or as homework / revision. (Fill in the gaps x 2, translate sentence and write a paragraph) - A notes sheet on the formation of the tense - A notes sheet on the most common irregular verbs. The final file is a cute exit slip to finish the lesson and see if there are any big gaps in students knowledge. Enjoy! Claddagh Classrooms
