Hi, my name is Mr Saxby. I lead mathematics and am part of the Senior Leadership Team at a 1 form Primary School. I enjoy creating resources and have been uploading them to my own website for many years now. Due to ongoing costs, I am now slowly migrating all my resources to the tes site. Some of which will continue to be free while others will include a small fee. I hope you gain a greater work-life balance with my resources as teacher wellbeing has always been one of my highest priorities.

At a recent EIP meeting it was discussed that children are to be trained to use edit stations. These have a positive impact on children to self check their work. Each station can be set up and the children rotate around the table or the paper is simply passed around. We use it at the end of a lesson, children have 4 minutes with each station then we pass on the paper to the next. Children are only allowed to edit what station they are on, for example if they are on the Capital letter station they are just looking through their work for capital letters. This can also be completed as a whole lesson. So far the pack includes capital letters, full stops and commas, spelling, inverted commas, sentence openers and apostrophes. Please note the section on the spelling part is for you to write topic words when laminated. I hope this helps you! It's been great in our class. Please let me know what you think in the your feedback.
Success Criteria for children to self-assess their work. With teacher and peer feedback. All 3 levels, both PDf and Word Document so you can edit away.
Edit stations can be used in a variety of ways. Check out the full set https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/edit-station-literacy-english-editing-station-for-ks2-self-check-work-creative-writing-11759495
