Rearranging Formula Matching Activity
Students start by cutting out the answers provided.
Students then work through the questions, rearranging each formula to make x the subject. There is space to show working out. Questions are matched up with the correct answers, and the answers are glued onto the worksheet in the correct place.
Also works well as a paired or group activity.
Percentage of Amounts (Super Hero Task)
Students need to calculate the hero rating of each super hero using their knowledge of percentages.
The students should identify those super heroes who have a hero rating which is a square or cube number.
This task is used to consolidate finding Percentages of Amount. No calculators are needed for this task.
