I taught this using the first 2 slides as an introduction and worked with the class to find out the answers. Then children completed the questions in speech bubbles (differentiated) by physically dividing up the the cakes between the Harry/Meghan/ the Queen / Prince William who were stuck on plastic plates. The numbers 0-20 on Autumn leaves. This resource can be printed out and laminated and cut into cards. The cards can be used for number activities such as matching quantities to the digit, or digit ordering. They can also be used for display. The numbers are on a photograph of a leaf which lends to a more neutral, natural aesthetic than illustrated/ drawn images. They would be perfect for use when learning about Autumn or whilst doing outdoor learning or forest school.

Resource and set up required for a weight investigation based on the Three Little Pigs story. Can be used in provision as an independent investigation or as a maths lesson. A resource to support addition and number work with a Valentines Day Love Heart Theme. Children will lay beads/items on the hearts to assist them to add two or three numbers. This resource includes 2 sheets for children to use to add either 2 or 3 numbers. Laminate or put in poly-pockets to allow children to write on it with a dry wipe pen.
