I'm currently training as a Primary Teacher so making a wide range of resources using a variety of programmes including ActivInspire and Smart Notebook. My shop also has some of my past resources that I made during my time as a Special Needs Support Assistant. I am also a Cub Scout Leader and have provided some of the resources I have made for this role where I feel that may be of use to others.

A work book made for Key Stage 3 Special Needs students with a statement of Autism who are following the Cornerstones Curriculum. In this Design and Technology project students will design and make a night light. Please note that this booklet requires the use of an oven and a laser cutter to complete so is not suitable for primary settings (unless they have strong links to a secondary school). The booklet is aimed at a lower to middle ability group. Each page contains a lot of structure to support students as they complete the project. The pages also include space for pupils to take part in self or peer assessment. The booklet includes pages on: Design Brief Analysis, Research, Specification, Initial Ideas, Modelling, Circuit Design, Final Ideas, Production Plan, Manufacture, Outcome and Evaluation. It also contains a number of hand drawn pictures.
Here are a lot of scans of the drawings on our tool poster set that we display in our Design and Technology room. I was scanning them all in to make in to resources but decided there might be some people who'd find the images themselves useful. All of these images were hand drawn a long while ago. I&'m happy for people to use them as they wish but if you make resources with them please be as so kind as to upload them here. Thank you.
A TEACCH activity where students have to match a photo of the type of tool to a simple description about what it is used for. This worksheet includes: Laser Cutter, Pillar Drill, Vinyl Cutter and Thermo Forming Centre.
A worksheet that is designed to help teach students how to annotate their research to help them gain higher grades in examinations later in their school lives. This resource was made for the autistic students from the Special School that I work at. It is also designed in a way to encourage the students to have to do some written work and to give them a degree of choice.
This resource now contains 3 different differentiations of the 2nd sheet (the page the pupils need to write on).
A sheet that shows some Swahili words and the translation in English. The words could also be cut out and used as a matching activity. Covers 10 words / phrases.
I'm uploading this as an example of how we have encouraged young people to participate in a range of activities. It may be possible for you to edit it to make it suitable for your setting. The young people each got a passport and then had a number of activities that they could choose to visit - each activity had a stamp that they could then have added to their passport after the completed the activity. It was a good way of giving the young people a choice but still having an incentive in place to encourage them to complete all the activities.
A 5 minute sound file that has been used to simulate an air raid at school and my Cub Scout Pack. It starts with an air raid siren, then has explosion sound effects before finishing with the all clear. We have used it separately and in association with my Child's War Quiz (WW1 & WW2), We pushed some tables together and covered them with a sheet / tarp to make an shelter. A smoke machine was used for extra effect.
