I am a super dyslexic teacher, with a dash of ADD, all my resources are built with access in mind, because honestly, if they weren't I wouldn't be able to read them. Note the pastel tones, chunking and clear notation ques. As such my resources are also super easy to scaffold or stretch, and definitely easy to replicate.
Please enjoy, and hang in there, at whatever school you're at, I can guarantee that those kids need you in their lives a lot more than you realise.

Be weird, be funny, be gross, have fun, play, stick to your routines and find that little spark of madness we all have and electrocute the class with it!
My style of teaching isn’t for everyone, I’m a dyslexic teacher who’s heard it all, my lessons are all catered towards accessibility (because if they were not I’d never be able to read them myself). Everything is short sharp and to the point, I don’t believe in endless writing, reams of printing, spoon feeding diagrams or pointless activities. Every minute matters!
Be sure to check out all my other resources, as a personal goal I intend to share all my resources at least once because hey, the government isn’t going to make it easier and we both know you are reading this way outside of your work hours.
Enjoy, comment or rate if you can, but most of all hang in there, they need you way more than you realise!

The MOTHER-OF-ALL-DEBATES is included with this bundle, students will take time learning the facts then let the learning fly in the final lesson. Students will never forget how they learned about renewable and fossil fuel energy!
Top-tips
Manage the quiet ones, encourage and reward their opinions, the louder students and the budding activists will take care of themselves.
Let them know there’s a debate to get ready for, set them homework for research on debates, energy resources and practice constantly how you want them to argue. (Demoing this is so much FUN).

Running a practical science lesson is sometimes a challenge for even the most seasoned practitioners, for the new and training, its easily considered the most difficult and often avoided part of science teaching. There are two problems here though, one, it is a required part of our subject, there is no avoiding it, two, its often the practical teachers that are the most well loved and respected, resulting in a far higher level of attainment.
That is why I have compiled the ‘Complete required Practical Guide’ series.
Inside you will find a comprehensive student method, easily printable, with extendable questions, optimised for dyslexic students where possible and closely following the AQA AT outcomes for a practical lesson.
However, you’ll also find a complete equipment list, with optional extras, a rundown of modelling, running the activity and cleaning up. Common pitfalls identified and the all essential and often annoying risk assessment.
All of which will help any new or adapting teachers to deliver their Required Practical components with relatively little effort and… look good while doing it.
Dissection classes are amongst the hardest and most daunting, partly because its difficult, its new with new tools and most of all because our boys have a terrible habit of lying about how squeamish they really are!
This single worksheet and one Chicken Leg between two students is all you need for a top notch quality learning lesson, no slides required!
The worksheet shows a compounded dissection of a chicken leg, first demonstrating the tendon structure, then the bones, then by opening up the synovial pocket you can experience the cartilage and touch the very slippery synovial fluid found inside.
Tips for best practice
-Practice by yourself first!
-Show each step by webcam onto the big screen, or even better Discord can stream to multiple ipads/tablets on each desk.
-Make it a competion, cleanest bones, best dissection, most features correctly identified etc.
-Let them mess it up, but show them their success (oh that incision is in the wrong place, but you just found the pelvis!!!)
