John Godber's Bouncers- Intention, Demands, Artistic vision and Audience perception Lesson
A PowerPoint on John Godber's intention, the specific demands of the text, what the students artistic vision may be and how they want the audience to react. Written with the OCR GCSE Presenting and Performing component in mind but would work for other units and age groups.
Woman in Black Performance notes
Detailed notes of the touring performance of The Woman in Black. The notes are split into the categories of Lighting, Sound, Characterisation, Costume, Props, Directors Decisions e.g. Genre and Style, Set. Very helpful to get the students to review the play as there is no DVD recording.

The power point has one slide that mentions blood brothers as the set text but could be easily adapted to include a different one. The creating question worksheets are designed around Blood Brothers but again could be adapted.
I suggest that it is taught over 3-5 lessons.
