A one hour religious education lesson on Christianity, Islam and homosexuality. This was used for GCSE RS Thematic Studies AQA (9-1) Theme A (but is editable for other exam boards or KS3). It is fully adaptable and includes essay preparation, quote analysis tasks, a variety of activities, a 12 mark practice question, clips and questions and is fully differentiated (to three levels throughout). A booklet for assessing progress in PSHE. This booklet has been created for students completing a healthy lives / healthy eating PSHE unit. It was created for KS3 and is adaptable. It has been created using PSHE Association guidelines. There are many ways of assessing in PSHE. This booklet allows you to focus on both literacy and skills (based on both Bloom’s Taxonomy and the requirements for extensive writing subjects in GCSE with the 9-1 grades). The booklet offers students a variety of long and short tasks to complete, with the options of either peer or teacher assessment. It includes all guidance on how to mark with two easy markschemes. The tasks make it very easy for teachers to evidence progress and are simple enough for students to read through and complete themselves, without much guidance. These assessments are created around the EC Resources Healthy Lives Unit (but can be used for any health unit). These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. This includes very detailed information on the every aspect of Theme A and is ready to print and give out. This illustrated guide contains many Christian quotes and detailed explanations, with easy student friendly phrasing on everything in Theme A. Personal space EYFS PSHE lesson. A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups. In this lesson, the children will learn about personal space and what it means to respect the personal space of others. We will discuss the reasons why we need to ask before touch another person, as well as highlighting what you should do if you don’t want to be touched. The lesson includes a sing-along starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision and a plenary task. Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

Islam: The Qur'an. Lesson includes - a one hour PowerPoint, differentiated worksheets, clip - loads to do and all editable, suitable for KS3/4 and great as a introduction to the Qur'an. The lesson partly focuses on quotes from the Qur'an - some well known but some more unusual ones too. Fantastic for engagement and loads of challenge.
