Taster session for Primary to Secondary transition for y6 students

This resources was created to help assess our current Y10 students,particularly how they would respond to a mock listening exam assessing them across a range of themes. Having already used on a previous mock the one AQA have produced so far we found ourselves having to produce a resource which attempts to share a similar format and characteristics.

A range of key activities to prepare Higher and Foundation students for their writing assessment: idioms, working with bullet points and translations.

A crosscurricular lesson aimed at my Y8s & Y9s, to try to get them to work out more difficult translations which include different writing/poetry techniques in context. It is also a lot of fun when they pick one of them and produce their own poem in Spanish.
