We have done this because this book lends itself very well to different history topics (Indigenous studies, convicts, gold rush etc). Waves is an excellent book for a school to buy a set of as it allows teachers to ‘dip’ in and out of it, using the part/s which work well with the unit they are teaching. This means this text can be used over and over as it covers migration to Australia from 50,000 years before present to 2000s.
