Animal Farm lesson that explores how the lives of the animals are worsening whilst the pigs live in increasing luxury. We look at how Squealer is able to use his rhetoric as a weapon to manipulate the animals into believing anything - great lesson that looks at fake news and propaganda and helps students to discuss how Napoleon and Squealer influence the animals’ thinking.

We explore in detail the use of language from both Romeo and Juliet as they present themselves to each other. We look at how Romeo takes on the role of a romantic hero whilst Juliet attempts to be more cautious. A fantastic lesson for KS4 students preparing for exams and easily adaptable for KS3 students.
As we study A Midsummer Night’s Dream we look at Act 3 Scene 2 and how Puck’s mistake causes chaos and confusion between Hermia, Helena, Demetrius and Lysander.
