Although I am British, I grew up in South Africa, where I went to school and studied architecture at University. After living and working in London for 9 years, my husband and I decided to move to Eastern Europe, so I did the CELTA course and embarked on my auspicious teaching career. I have been teaching ESL for 8 years, mostly at upper-intermediate, advanced and proficiency levels. My students mostly want conversation, listening, reading and vocabulary, so after struggling with the course books for a while I decided to prepare my own lessons based on current articles and videos.
