This includes the following: Summative assessment criteria and descriptors Personal Learning Checklist A teacher’s guide The guide includes an explanation of the skills, knowledge and SPAG descriptors found in both the assessment criteria and PLC; exemplar material with annotations and examples of marking - which can be used as modelled examples in the classroom. The PLC is fully editable and based on the assessment criteria, written in a pupil-friendly language to be used to share with learners and as a peer/self-assessment resource. Designed to help evidence the application of knowledge alongside skills in English and help lessen the time spent marking.

Resource 1: student-friendly metacogition cycle with prompting questions for each stage of the cycle and a modelled example. Resource 2: Pre- and post-task questions - this resource is great for self assessment. Can be adapted to suit various tasks and subject areas; would even make a good display.
