A fun visual game that can be played in small groups, pairs or individually. There are four boards in total. Each board has it own set of word cards. Players pick a word card from a box or similar or turn a card over. They then read the word and find the picture of that word. Once they find it they can put a counter or similar onto it. If playing with more than one players, then each player will need their own set of coloured counters. Could also be used in connect 4 type games.

This pack contains matching word and picture cards that cover uses the set 1 sounds. They cover words that use three, four and five sounds. Simply match the frog to the correct lily pad by reading the word. They can be used as a matching activity, memory type games, snap or use the picture cards as a writing activity.

These games cover the consonant digraphs and vowel sounds in Phase 3. Apart from a few of pictures, mainly the ure sound (treasure, picture) it can also be used to write the word.
