This test combines every topic of Key Stage 3 Science (including Biology, Chemistry and Physics) all into one. The test is out of 76 marks, and there is a maximum time of 55 minutes to complete it. Please feel free to edit the timing and questions. This is recommended for HIGHER LEVEL students, but this may be a good resource to use if some students are struggling with certain topics.
GCSE Chemistry can seem daunting, especially with all the equations and hard names to learn. And we know students usually struggle to admit to them not being able to understand the topics.
This topic test has been designed to assess all aspects of the first unit of GCSE Chemistry, Atomic Structure and Periodic Table, the very key concepts students need to be able to understand to succeed at Chemistry.
This topic test is the first of a series of GCSE Chemistry tests, to be used either as revision or class assessments. This would act as a brilliant source of making sure students are comfortable with this topic, and what to revise again.

Unit 7 - Organic Chemistry
This help sheet beautifully lays out the 4 different types of compounds students need to learn at GCSE.
The 4 types on this sheet are:
Alkanes
Alkenes
Alcohols
Carboxylic Acids
Hopefully this will help with revision!
