Following on from my lesson on revision 3 quotations from each poem, this lesson revises 3 key words from each poem. Remembering the key words should activate students to remember the whole quotation and the significance of it.
There are also two extension acitivites:
an A to Z code for comparing the poems
a quiz on context in all 18 poems.
A lesson that invites students to explore comparisons between compatible poems in the EDUQAS anthology by looking for subtle and discriminating comparisons.
A full lesson exploring the poem with challenging questions for independent analysis followed by answers and annotations.

There is a differentiated activity to encourage students to use the revision sheet effectively:

Silver: AO3 link each quotation to context
Gold: AO3 link each quotation to a theme
Diamond: AO2 Identify language features in each quotation

Romeo and Juliet Starter: Finish off each key quote. I use an activity like this regularly because the AQA 2017 examination is a closed book examination.
