I have divided the play into smaller chunks. Students must find key quotations from each scene from the play and make links to one of the 6 themes.
The page numbers are for the Methuen edition with the red cover.
An Inspector Calls test on 10 quotations per character. 9-1 revision
A test on the significance 10 key quotations for each of the 6 characters in the play.
The answers appear one by one by mouse click to allow you to control how you reveal the answers.
The quote explanations are basic inferences and aimed at a lower ability class or a class just beginning to study the play.
Contains both pdf and editable versions of the resources.

Paper 1 Question 5 Descriptive Writing Revision
A 19 slide revision lesson for Paper 1 Question 5. Best used over 2/3 lessons.
Using the image of a haunted house as the inspiration, students complete a series of tasks on a worksheet (attached) aimed at developing skills for Paper 1 Question 5 (covering sentence types and openers, advanced punctuation and figurative language) before completing the description. Students then evaluate their work using the suggested strategies.
Also contains a lesson which goes through some high level exemplars of a lighthouse.
