The Highwayman poetry pack containing a verse-by-verse PowerPoint presentation of Alfred Noyes’ poem, a pupil copy of the poem, a glossary and an event sorting activity with answers. Poem Presentation The 21 slide presentation is organised with each verse on a different slide. The parts and verses are numbered. Based on the English legend of the cockatrice dragon from Wherwell, Hampshire, the sender of this letter asks the recipient for help to defeat the dragon that is terrorising their school.
