Hi, I'm Ash! I am a Year 1 teacher from Australia. I have recently had a baby, so I have started making fun, creative resources while she naps! I would love all your support. Everything I make has been tested on my Year 1 students, and in my friends classrooms too! The quality of each resource is always exceptional.
If you head over to my Instagram, I have almost 2,000 followers. I share my journey of becoming a seller on there, too. I hope you enjoy browsing my shop!

This is the perfect resource for back to school.
When my class come back from holidays I like to have circle time and take turns in sharing a special memory from the holidays. I then send the students back to their desks to complete this activity. They draw their memory and then choose a peer to sit with and put their puzzle back together. The discussions I hear around the room as they are working together are always so positive. It builds friendships and is a lovely way to ease children back to school after their break. To extend the activity, I often then ask the children to write about their memory and use their completed puzzle as a stimulus.
This poster is a fun way for your students to create a recount their school holidays. The resource includes a section where they can record their 3 highlights, draw a place they went and a food they ate. It would make a great first day of school activity. This resource can also be used for older students as a stimulus to refer to when creating a detailed recount.
