This is a full SOW with lots of literary links to other engaging texts through the use of key work vocabulary. 19 lessons which include assessment points. I have delivered this to Year 7 and they really enjoyed the text. It is also short enough to read in a smaller term and for intervention groups/tutor reads.

There are links to Gatsby at the end of the unit for the last few lessons but this can be changed/adapted. The scheme is complete with challenge tasks, key terms and a variety of tasks.
This is a PPT which explains the Speaking and Listening criteria and contains multiple tasks suited to the individual student to try before creating their own speeches.
