This is a set of 4 probes (and two maintenance probes) for precision teaching interventions aiming at building mastery of the 6 times tables.
There are multiple versions depending on the aim rate you wish to set. The probes can be used in a see and say, read and say, read and write way. There is also a tracking grid which can be used for this or other precision teaching interventions.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
We think it’s important to try to build students confidence with assessments, so for our half termly assessments we aim to have zero suprises. The questions will all look very familiar to the skills they have covered.
We design our end of half term assessments on what skills the students have covered that half term, rather than having an assessment before hand and working towards it. The lesson before they complete the revision sheet, which you will see is very similar to the assessment.
This assessment covers grade one skills including calculations, ordering numbers, multiples, primes, factors and rounding.

A collection of nice and simple sheets for pupils to use to practice written calculations. Each skill (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) has 3 different difficult levels.
I added arrows to show pupils which way to move around the sheet in a desperate attempt to make it different and more interesting. Surprisingly it seemed to work.
If you haven’t already check out the bitmoji app to add cool little illustrations onto resources.
A worksheet on y=mx+c. Includes identifying gradient and intercept from the equation, finding the equation from the graph and drawing the graph from the equation.
