Topics in the 5 lists per sheet have been created with a focus on the GCSE Edexcel 9-1 specification (although could be used with other exam boards too) and taking into account what questions they will be expected to answer in the exam. This activity encourages knowledge retrieval and recall of the key features of Norman England. How do I use this resource? I use this resource as a starter activity. Students have 5 minutes to write down as much as hey know abut the topics in the list, followed by minute sharing and stealing from their partner. This is followed up by whole class discussion of the topics to ensure understanding and correcting any misconceptions.
