A free resource from my Raging Rivers SOW. I will be uploading the rest of the SOW in time, but am still adapting the rest of the resources with differentiated worksheets, etc. This lesson is a little crude as I have not had the time to revise it, but I would like to offer it in its current form as a free resource. A free template I created for your PowerPoint presentations for geography lessons. Includes a starter/title slide with automatically updating date, and a plenary slide. Simply add your school logo and change the colours to match your school and then build your lessons into it. It makes it easier to embed structure and routine into your lessons, but also ticks all the boxes for Ofsted having the learning objectives, keywords, starter/do now tasks and plenary all projected for the class to see. A simple worksheet designed for KS3 weather and climate scheme of work. I originally set this as a homework, but could also be used in-class as a task for a lesson on measuring weather. During the follow-up lesson, I put the answers on the board with a simple mark scheme and got the pupils to peer assess each other’s work. Easily can be expanded and adapted for GCSE classes - particularly for those studying OCR geography and the topic of climate change and evidence for it. ***Please leave a review if you decide to download any of my work. A simple, yet effective worksheet designed to teach pupils about the social, environmental and economic effects of the Cow Green Reservoir. Completely pupil-led and created for a grammar-school environment. Easily differentiated by removing the social effects or changing it to positive and negative statements. Also include an exam-style question. For assessment, I use the AQA website to teach them the command word “justify” and then give them AO levels to peer-assess each other’s answers. ***Please leave a review if you decide to download any of my work.
