I have been teaching for many years at lots of different levels. During this time, I've generally produced most of the resources myself. I'm in the process of revising and improving them and posting them at TES in the hope they may be of use to other teachers, educators, pupils and students.
I hope you will pop into my shop now and again. I'll be adding stuff for the next few weeks, and what turns up may be just what you need.

During the last ten years, I have written eight of the Year 6 Leavers’ Productions in our junior school… ROCKIN’ ROBIN is probably the most popular amongst all ages - the young and the not-so-young.
All the productions I write are comedies. Year 6 must love putting them on, and every audience of all ages must be laughing out loud at least every two minutes.
YOU not only get the script, but you get EVERYTHING you need to put on the show. For example, in the script, every time you need the backing, song, or sound effect, you click the link that takes you straight to youtube and there it is. You are also guided how to trim any of these - free, offline, and in seconds.
You also have: Production Notes - Sound Track - Props - Cast description and list - Action Scene by Scene - Song Book. You also have permission, from me, to make any amendments and changes that suit you. This version of ‘Robin Hood’ allows you to add any number of characters. We have performed Rockin’ Robin twice with between 70 and 80 players taking part.
I’m pricing Rockin’ Robin at £5. For this you get everything you need in a production that has proved great to stage, present, and give the audiences of all ages a mega fun time.
In the next few weeks, I will be adding my other productions, so keep an eye on my shop … where you’ll also find lots and lots of stuff that might interest you. And a lot of it is free.
All the best to you and yours for a successful 2023 and beyond.

Every school kids love quizzes. They especially love Picture Quizzes. This package provides TEN PICTURE QUIZZES for KS2 PUPILS.
The quizzes offer MATCH THE PICTURES or NAME THE PICTURES. This means they can be used all the way from eight year olds to eleven and twelve year olds.
The pictures offer a very wide range: kittens - pets - famous landmarks - kids’ movies - sport -music - famous folk… and on and on.
Each quiz has five units. This makes them ideal for using as an incentive for class work well done, or perhaps at the end of the week.
I’m setting the price at £2, meaning the ten pictures quizzes cost 20p each, and, of course they can be used right across the school.
If you invest £2 for the set, and if you like them, I will appreciate a little positive review. You might also enjoy a visit to my shop where I’m posting a very wide range of resources.
The very best to you and yours for a successful 2023 and beyond.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE remains one of the most popular movies for our Year 6 (KS2) pupils.
The programme culminates with pupils writing their own stories:
WHERE THE ? ARE. Some their stories are included in the package.
These stories were written by our more able pupils, but all of our pupils
have made stories worthwhile of the assignment.
Have a look and see if it prompts interest amonst your pupils.
The package is free.
You might like to have a browse in my shop - lots of the resources are free; the rest are moderately priced.

ANIMAL FARM remains on of the most popular novels in GCSE novels.
This study guide is designed to engage students so they have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the novel, and enable them to engage effectively in questions that appear in the GCSE examination.
It is also very useful if ANIMAL FARM appears at AS Level. It does this as part of wider interpretation of the themes in the novel.
This guide has 53 pages, and here are the topics covered:
Brief summary of the plot - The plot of Animal Farm chapter by chapter - A Ready Reference - The Characters in Animal Farm - Themes in Animal Farm - Key Concepts in note form - Spot the speaker/s and situation/s - Much more than a fairy story - Who was George Orwell?
I have written these sections in ways that are accessible - and hopefully enjoyable - for GCSE students around 14 and 15. We have used it in our school for several years and it does the job.
I’m pricing the Study Guide at £5. I hope it will become standard support in your school.
All the best for a safe and successful 2023 and beyond.

However, it can be used at all ages.
This reource is free. I will be grateful if you can give it a little reviews to encourage teachers to download it and have it at hand.
It really works for all ages.

During the last ten years, I have written eight of the Year 6 Leavers’ Productions in our junior school. BRING ME SUNSHINE is amongst the most popular amongst all ages - the young and the not-so-young.
BRING ME SUNSHINE is a romantic comedy where no one actually gets round to any romance. It is vaguely based on Aladdin and the Arabian Nights’ tales though it is not intended to be a pantomime as such. Act 1 is set in the garden outside Window Twanky’s Laundry. Act 2 is set in the Royal Garden.
All the productions I write are comedies. Year 6 must love puting them on, and every audience of all ages must be laughing out loud at least every two minutes.
YOU not only get the script, but you get EVERYTHING you need to put on the show. During the last ten years, I have written eight of the Year 6 Leavers’ Productions in our junior school… JACKANORY is among the most popular amongst all ages - the young and the not-so-young.
JACKANORY is essentially four sketches linked by an overall framework of the two pupils – ‘Amy’ and ‘Ben’ – responsible for choosing the Year 6 production. Two cleaning ladies – Mrs Mopp and Mrs Tickle – also form a link between the sketches. However, no character appearing in one sketch appears in any other of the sketches. This makes rehearsals particularly easy even in the final scene – Act 2 Scene 5 – when the cast comes together only for the final few moments.
All the productions I write are comedies. Year 6 must love puting them on, and every audience of all ages must be laughing out loud at least every two minutes.
YOU not only get the script, but you get EVERYTHING you need to put on the show. This resource is a Complete Revision Course for AS and A Level Psychology (AQA).
I wrote the course for my Sixth Year Psychology students. It sold commercially for a number of years, titled STEPS TO SUCCESS IN GCE PSYCHOLOGY
It was very popular because it is very accessible and appealing to students who used it.
I eventually received the copyright and now offer it here as a revision course for those who can make use of it. The course covers - more or less - what students need, and, of course, teachers can select what is most relevant for their students.
Here are the units:
PSYA 1 - 50 pages
Cognitive Psychology Memory - Memory in Everyday Life - Developmental Psychology - Early Social Development - Attachments in Everyday Life - RESEARCH METHODS
PSYA 2 - 45 pages
Biological Psychology - Social Psychology - Individual Differences
PSYA 4a - 100 pages
CONTROVERSIES, TOPICS AND APPLICATIONS - SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY
PSYA 4b - 14 pages
ISSUES AND DEBATES IN PSYCHOLOGY
Of course, some of the contents - and the formats - have changed over the years, but many of the topics and issues have remained.
It’s straightforward to select what you need for your stduents and let them have copies - or work together on in class. The key is everything has been written for the students, so they are generally comfortable revising the issues.
If you decide to invest in the resource (£5), and you find it useful, I’ll be grateful if you give it a review in a couple of lines. This revision course worked for us; I hope it works for yours.
All the best for 2023 and beyond.

This resource shows how newspaper articles are written, and then gives pupils the opportunity to write their own. Everything needed is included in the resource.
First, the class explore and analyse a newspaper article - Chris Keeps Cool - that is likely to appeal to them. They are guided through the article by questions which encourage them to explore the features of a newsapaper article.
A second newspaper article describes how one twin brother has been put up for sale because his mum and dad can’t afford both boys! Again the article is analysed by a series of questions that provoke discussion.
This is followed by a more formal analysis of the article.
Youtube links enhance the experience.
Pupils then have the chance to write their own article describing an incident in which a boy accidentally freezes his tongue to a pole in a dare. This is accompanied by a youtube video that shows the actual incident!
Our kids enjoy this activity. The chances are yours will too if you invest £2 in the resource.
All the best for 2023 and beyond.
