Non-chronological report success criteria to display on whiteboard and smaller one which can be stuck in books for children to have a focus when writing or used as a marking aid. In red is what the non-chronological report must include. Used in Year 4 but could be adapted to suit other KS2 year groups.

For supporting SEN children in LSK2. One document with pictures prompting children to think about what information they would need to include in a non-chronological report about a country. One document containing sentences with missing words which children can fill in using the information they have found. Can be used to support SEN children in mixed ability pairs or as a group with support from an adult.

2 week planning block consisting of 8 lessons relating to Haiku, acrostic and free verse poems as well as 2 stand alone SPAG lessons - one on noun phrases and one on expanded noun phrases. 10 simple sentences SEN children in LKS2 can work on either independently or with the support of an adult. Children can read the sentences and then identify the verb, noun and object in each sentence, underlining with the appropriate colour. Comes with answers.

To be used as a teaching tool on the whiteboard to introduce/recap noun phrases with the class. In the 5 teaching sentences fronted adverbials and conjunctions can also be identified.
