High 5 SPAG & English resource to consolidate key terms before leaving the classroom. The children need to say an example of the word class on the hand & say it out loud before leaving the classroom. They can High 5 the hand as they walk by.
I give these to one or two children in a lesson & invite them to become the ‘Grammar Police’. You can also allow them to wear a tabard or police hat. They sneak around the room & try to find errors in their peer’s work. This has worked as a really engaging form of peer assessment at our school.
New curriculum formative assessment grids to replace APP or similar for teachers on going assessments. This will help you to establish if your children are beginning/developing/embedded or mastery. It included all of the statutory KPIs and NCDs. These are categorised into different areas of writing which will help you to clearly establish gaps. £1 per year group or £5 for all year groups (year 1-year 6). The bunting spells 'Sea of sounds' for a phonics display. I have also included blank glittery bunting for you so that you can make the bunting as long as you want.
