Here we have our Nando’s Chili Bioenergetics topic review questions!
This activity is designed to be printed 2 to a page and is a perfect end of topic quick summary activity to identify gaps in knowledge.
I have completed one half of the sheet to show example questions for lower ability students and the other for higher ability students. The worksheet is available to be downloaded as a PowerPoint slide and so can be edited as desired or used as is.
I typically allow students to jump in on the ‘spice level’ of their choice if running out of time but prefer to start all students on lemon and herb and have them complete tasks moving up the sheet as a timed activity.
This is a revision mat for AQA Combined Science Paper 1.
Specifically looking at Endothermic and exothermic reactions within the topics Chemical and Energy Changes.
Never miss a practical again with this AQA Triple Science Required Practical Checklist!

POINTS PURSUIT is a gamified revision strategy that can be integrated with any rewards system of your choosing and is a nice way to increase competition. Questions start off as low demand at the top and then progressively increase in difficulty as students move down the sheet - please note that I have used this with higher ability classes and many students have started at the bottom to gain the most points and then worked their way up the sheet as an effective strategy.
I usually complete a sheet under a visualiser and have students swap sheets and coloured pens then follow along to reduce my marking :)
These revision mats cover the Edexcel iGCSE Physics (Single Science) topics and were designed for use in end of year revision but can be used in a number of ways (see below!)
For £4 you get 1 sheet included for each topic to include:
Forces and motion
Electricity
Waves
Energy Resources and Energy Transfer
Solids, Liquids and Gases
Magnetism and Electromagnetism
Radioactivity and particles
Astrophysics
POINTS PURSUIT is a gamified revision strategy that uses a points system to rank task difficulty and motivate students!
Questions start off as low demand at the top and then progressively increase in difficulty as students move down the sheet – but that doesn’t mean you have to start at the top! Many students start at the bottom to gain the most points and then work their way up the sheet as an effective strategy also!
Here’s some ways you can utilise this resource:
Assess ‘missed’ knowledge – set a timer (10 minutes should be enough but change as you see fit) and complete as many tasks as possible without using any revision materials, notes or textbooks (or Google!). After you have finished, switch to a different coloured pen and then go through the tasks again with additional materials to support you. By now, every task should have been completed. Now, use my answer sheets to mark your work in a third colour. This will help identify any gaps in knowledge by looking for where the second and third pens were used most!
Award points for attempted tasks AND tasks which have been ‘marked’ to encourage thorough learning
Use as a before and after! Try this task before you learn any new content on the topic and then again when you have finished studying. This is great to highlight how much information you have learned as it too often so easy to forget how much your brain is trying to take in!
These are worksheets for Edexcel iGCSE Physics.
