Includes powerpoint slides, poem and planning grid for a full lesson introducing a poetry module or topic. Intended for Year 9, but easily adapted for either Key stage 3 or 4. Uses the poem ‘Introduction to Poetry’ by Billy Collins and includes a starter game and analysis of the poem.
