How many times your pupils wrote in the test or homework that 2hrs30 min =2.3 hrs? Wrong understanding of this area, leads to wrong answers when teaching ‘Distance Speed Time’  topic. This worksheet was designed to help pupils to understand different time notations and to help them to learn how to convert between time give in a single ( hrs or/and min expressed as decimals and fractions) and dual notation ( hrs and mins).

Used when teaching Higher Maths. By doing this worksheet with students, you will build their knowledge of the basic properties of the exponential function and the logarithmic function, including the relationship between them ( inverse functions). Graphics added are to help understand it visually and then to be able to link it with being equivalent to 1/3 and 2/3/ That should lead to calculate the percentage of a number and extended it to the opposite operation i.e. finding the original value.Created originally for my daughter (age Primary 7) but this worksheet could be used in S1 and S2 class too.
