Design Process: Re-Design the Cafeteria IB Design Process
This lesson is designed to teach students the design process using the IB design process model. The project is to redesign the schools cafeteria to make it better. There is also an extension to the lesson where they can pitch their product.
Students will complete several game design tutorials in the Scratch program. They will then use the design process journal to redesign one of the game tutorials. There is no prep for this entire unit!
Students will take a look at Thomas Paine and how his writings helped impact the American Revolution. There are follow up questions for the short readings and an essential question at the end. Essential Question: How did Thomas Paine change the course of the American Revolution?
