Get the children’s imaginations flowing with this text message generator.
This PowerPoint allows you to edit text messages as if they had come from anyone. It may be a message from the Gingerbread man or the 3 little pigs. The first slide acts as if the screen isn’t in use. The next pretends to bring up ‘your iPhone’ with the message from the chosen person. When you click (works best with a clicker) the slide will look like your replying. Clicking again saying “send” will send your preprepared message. Give it 4 seconds and your character will reply without you having to press anything. (Remember to type in your reply, it doesn’t generate that part). Then repeat the process again to have a conversation as long as you want.
It even has real text noises! A genuinely excellent resource that has so much flexibility.
This is an excellent resource! Always thought of creating something like this. Please review and let me know what you used it for!

When on this course I searched the internet for hours trying to find a document that would give me an idea about the course. I couldn't find anything. So after receiving my feedback and completing the course, I decided to place my assignment on here.
I passed the course and my assignment was deemed to have no development points. All competencies were classed as strengths.
My assignment is phonics based, but process, layout, format, information to include etc will apply to any project.
"Strengths were demonstrated in Delivering continuous improvement as your priorities for improvement were clearly linked to your vision for the project. In terms of Modelling excellence in leadership of teaching and learning, you have been persistent in your drive to demonstrate excellence in all aspects of Read, Write, Inc. leadership.Strengths were demonstrated in Learning focus, as you kept learning and pedagogy at the core of the curriculum and your leadership practice.Strengths were demonstrated in Impact and influence, as you used new approaches, initiatives and knowledge gained to support staff and promote the project.Self-awareness is an area of strength, because you remained self-aware, reflective and evaluative throughout the project." - Feedback From Moderator

This resource is designed for Year 6 teachers, SLT or Assessment Leads.
If you assess your children on the 2016 & 2017 SATs tests then you can use this assessment tool to look at the levels the children are achieving.
Simply enter the children’s names and their individual paper scores, the document will do the rest. This document will work out the child’s total (Raw Score) and then convert into their standardised score. It will then colour code the score to say whether they are below (Red), AT (Green) or above (Yellow).
This is a data tool for the KS2 Maths, Reading and SPAG test for 2016 & 2017. It is incredibly useful.
Enjoy.

This is a visual behaviour scheme that allows for Teachers to have a in class behaviour system that links with both visual and verbal communication.
Every child is on the green car because they are ‘on track’, if they make a wrong choice, a verbal reminder to ‘check their engines’ can be given which is the yellow car. If they continue this behaviour or being disruptive in the class then they need a ‘pit stop’. The pit stop means that they reflect on their actions, but like in real life racing, they still have the ability to get ‘back on track’.
Children respond well to this especially boys. The resource comes with two documents, one has the three coloured cars and the other document includes road signs to help explain each car.

This is a resource to analyse data from mock screening tests. There are tabs for 2015, 2016 and 2017 Phonics screening.
Simply place a 1 when a child has got a word correct and the box automatically changes green to show a pass. The correct answers are added up to give a final score and whether the child has passed or not. It is a great visual way to see where children are not understanding specific sounds.
A great resource for Year 1 teachers, SLT or data leads.

This FREE resource is a great idea for Teaching Assistants to use during carpet time.
Fill in the children’s names, the date, the learning objective and then whilst the teacher does their input, the TA can watch the class to ensure children are engaged and understanding the task. They can then add any comments or use a ticking system on names for the children they were working with.
