5 extract and essay questions for ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ Literature exam practice.

A ppt. on Ted Hughes’ ‘The Thought Fox’ for teaching at GCSE level. The ppt. goes through meaning, context, language and structure and includes annotations of the poem. There is also an example answer for students to add to and adapt with the ability to assess themselves against the GCSE mark scheme.

This resource has been invaluable to my students. It lists in order what happens in the book and when it happens. This avoids confusion with the narrative technique of flashing backwards and forwards in the book.

The SoW builds up skills and includes past papers for students to practise with. Texts from Edexcel have been used and adapted to suit the needs of the Cambridge exam. I hope that the materials and papers are of use to someone starting out with Cambridge First Language!

A blank revision booklet for students to fill in as they study Frankenstein. This was created with A Level Literature in mind as there is so much to learn in terms of context and content, however, this could be used at GCSE or KS3 with the titles adapted.

This PowerPoint and annotated poem analyse the context, language, structure and rhyme scheme of the poem in detail. There is also an example question and exemplar answer. The PowerPoint ends with take away tasks based upon the poem.
