These resources are designed to help pupils study and prepare for the National Five Scottish Text. These resources focus on the poem Glasgow 5th March by Edwin Morgan. Each PPT slide had a short paragraph or passage taken from a range of sources (fiction and non-fiction) Underneath each paragraph is a close reading style question. These are understanding or analysis based tasks looking at things such as word choice and sentence structure. Would be useful for a class working on Close Reading/Reading for UAE. Have been used as lesson starters of an extenstion activity for pupils.
