Making Salt Crystals Worksheet

(0)
Just what you need for your next Science experiment! On this worksheet, students will need to record the equipment and ingredients required to make salt crystals, the method they used to make them and observational drawings recorded once per week. I created this worksheet to use with my Year 2 students during our Science unit on Rocks. My students loved this activity and especially liked how they could add food colouring to get different coloured salt crystals! Just a word of warning to ensure that all of your students create a super-saturated solution (to the point where no more salt can dissolve in the water), otherwise you’re at risk of getting some very disappointed little faces! I also included a WALT (We Are Learning To) and Success Criteria at the top of the worksheet. Hope you find it helpful!
