Simple growth Mindset Posters Nature themed.

An introduction to the concept of capacity. Originally used with a Year 1 class during Home Learning. It includes an explanation of what capacity is, teaches/recaps the meanings of capacity vocabulary & concepts (more/less, most/least, full/empty). It includes at the end an activity for the children using informal units of measure.

Presentation to introduce what tessellation is. It shows pictures of tessellation in nature then human made tessellation and asks the children what they notice. It then teaches what tessellation is with picture examples. It sets children an tessellation hunt activity and then a task to create their own tessellated pattern at the end using 2D shapes.
