This folder contains 3 levels of sheet which are designed for revision or intervention style lessons.
All 3 are the same besides the application questions.
Suggested use. - Print double sided.
Students complete the knowledge quiz in silence, this is to assess current knowledge, and then peer/self assess this with teacher support.
Students then have short period of teacher talk/discussion time to work through the placemat, you may include use of own revision resources/text books/ teacher modeling etc.
Students complete past paper questions firstly in exam conditions, and then using peer discussion or text book/revision guide support.
The aim is that all students gain the base knowledge overview from the KQ & the placemat before applying to varying levels of challenge Past papers. Sheets are targeted to 1-3 grades, 4/5 and 6+ HT grades.

The lesson recaps key making salts content in form of knowledge retrieval quiz & DIRT, before moving onto key terminology recaps and reference to Ionic equations to describe acids and alkali, and comparing strong to concentrated.
The lesson lends itself to carrying out a titration and producing a pH curve from this.
