5 reasons choice boards are awesome:
• They target different learning styles.
• They give kids a choice on how to present their understanding.
• They are great for distance learning.
• Sometimes, they ignite the student’s creativity, causing a whole new choice to be thought up.
• They are colourful and engaging – and they can be saved on your computer for next time.
This Active and Passive Voice choice board also has a recorded explanation on each slide (represented by the purple speaker).
First - you teach the concept
Second - students can choose an option from the choice board to show you that they have understood
You also have choices – you can have them create more or fewer examples based on what grade you teach.
This board contains 10 choices. Should a student come up with another amazing choice, I encourage you to jot it down and get one of the kids to create a slide for it at some point. Then next year, you will have 11 choices!
Sending so much love to you for the year ahead!
