This is a mixed bag resource for Spring. Mostly suitable for KS2 / ESL. It contains • task cards : including St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Passover, Earth Day and First Day of Spring, board game • worksheets: including word search, Earth acrostic poem template, map completion, life cycle of a butterfly template • crafts: two templates for bookmarks and one Easter card • Wordsworth’s Daffodils poem plus worksheets These could be great activity fillers through Spring- perhaps a Friday afternoon or as a lead in to a topic/ plenary. They could also be used in a literacy centre for self-access. Alternatively, you could turn the resource into a homework booklet for Spring.

This is part one of a series of Learners' Labyrinth Mini Guides to War and Revolution. There is a PowerPoint presentation giving a brief overview of the French Revolution 1789- information, discussion topics about the 1700s. It has three worksheets covering Roman Numerals, King Louis' diary and Queen Marie Antoinette's diary. This is an excellent intro to European history for year Six or Seven and possibly a good one off lesson in the run up to the European 'in or out' vote and French Bastille Day on July 14th.
