Maths activity for multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000. Children have a go at multiplying between 1 and 3 digit numbers. Less able can use the place value charts to support them with multiplying (also attached). Children can then move on to applying times tables facts to 20, 300, and 4000. Answers for these are provided. There's a blank version for kids to also create their own questions; I also created an 'If I know...' section for children to apply their skills (no answers available).
Hope you find this useful, please rate and let me know how I can improve this!
This is an interactive activity which involves learning the first 100 high frequency words. First the child has a go at sounding it out, then drawing it in the air, then making the words using the alphabet. This is great as a home-school activity for kids in Early Years or Year 1, a classroom board activity or a Google Classroom activity. Have fun and let me know how it goes!
Drag and match activity, which includes 50 Slides! This is a matching exercise whereby the child has to:
say the sound
Find the matching object to the sound
Drag correct picture to sound
This is the perfect activity to for children to recognise the alphabet and sounds and is suitable for Phase 1 of phonics. Also suitable for EAL learners who are new to English and learning to recognise the English language and name objects.
You can download this via PPT, or the instruction PDF which has the link to the Google Drive slides! Option to share in Google Classroom for older EAL learners.

Great classroom display or for home learning, displaying numbers 1-10 on high quality cactus images. Images are A4 size, so print well onto paper and card. Have fun and tag your photos @little.primary.teacher on Instagram to show me how it looks!
