Hi there,
The school I work at has such an amazing approach to planning, and so it looks like there'll be another full year of resources being uploaded to this site as I go.
This pack includes individual lesson plans, resources and activities for the children, including a PowerPoint to take you through each day.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Miss Ritchie.

Hi!
In this bundle, there are three potential interview lessons covering the following LO’s.
LO: To understand and use subordinate clauses
LO: To understand and implement the processes behind mathematical word problems
LO: To use adventurous vocabulary to describe characters
In each pack, there’s a TA deployment sheet, an extensive plan, a lesson prompt, a powerpoint and all the differentiated resources provided.
This pack includes 4 activities.
The main activity has three tasks that involve classifying words into 1 of 7 categories. This opens up for lots of conversation and debate, which is a great basis for a lesson.
The other three activities are mazes where children must get from the top row of the word-table to the the bottom by linking words of that type.
I hope this proves helpful!

Hi there!
This assembly is 7 pages long and incorporates 22 parts, though there’s enough scope for more narrators to be added in or for children to only have one part as opposed to two.
I like my assemblies to be funny, hence the large amount of humour added in!
There’s audience participation etc.
Any questions, please let me know!
Hi All!
At the private school that I work at, we do Writing Portfolios to assess the children’s English skills 3 times a year.
Each time we do one, we have a stimulus presentation and we all use the same planning sheet.
This can be used from years 3-6 and is differentiated accordingly.
There’re 2 different planning sheets to suit different abilities and to ensure the planning aspect is standardised across the school.
Enjoy!
A differentiated, Egyptian themed resource where children have to place apostrophes into the correct places, state whether it is singular or plural and define the key terms.
Hello all!
Here’s a 3-way differentiated resource for getting children into groups of understanding using column subtraction. I use this with my year 3 and 4 children, and they love getting into role to complete it.
The task involves children interviewing for three different jobs in Ancient Egyptian society: High priest, Scholar or Pharaoh. The job they get depends on their answers to the questions- you can discuss that, whilst there was a heirarchy, without people in every role, society wouldn’t exist.
This is a 4-page script for The Lion King. It’s for a performing arts event for the musical theatre section.
I wrote the narration in verse, and included two songs: Be Prepared and I Can’t Wait To Be King.

Book Review worksheet concentrating on summarising, forming opinions and concluding on Matilda by Roald Dahl.
UK and US versions included
In this book review, children are asked to summarise the main parts of the story, give their opinion on the story as a whole, state the funniest, scariest and favourite parts, rate the story from 1-5, explain if they would recommend the book, and discuss who their favourite and least favorite characters were.
This works great as a post-text exercise, and also works as a movie review if you are following the feature film instead. Reviewing books helps children know that it’s okay to like or dislike a book, and also allows them to work out what their favorite genres are.
Included in this download:
UK and US versions of PDF and Word documents
PDF version of the book review
.docx Word document version of the book review for editing purposes
‘Lost in Chalk’ font to help you edit the resource and keep the style
