Dans ma chambre is a lesson plan and set of support materials from a lesson that was graded as OFSTED Outstanding. There is the presentation powerpoint of furniture, 2 versions of the powerpoint on prepositions including a thinking skills starter, the lesson plan, a preparation and self-assessment document and support sheets with breifing notes for your Learning Support Assistant for SEN and EAL. I have used it with all abilities in year 7 but it could be used with junior school students who have some knowledge of French. A fun lesson, enjoy!

Verbs-etre is a worksheet designed to allow students to repeatedly go over the verb in the present tense. Activities include completing the verb table, translation and completing sentences. Students can fold over the completed verb to allow them to work from memory or look at the table if they need to. The completed table can be glued into students workbook or grammar book for reference. I have also included an answer sheet for self/peer correction.

I have done this with students as a memory test, talking about the year and the various holidays then giving them the calendar and the questions on it to see how much they remember, could also be done as a team or pair game. Good for getting students to understand some of the cultural similarities and differences.
